I don't think it is elderberry- they look too big, and I can't tell what the leaves look like. Can you give us more of the leaves, and how big are the berries. They remind me of the wild huckleberries we used to find when hiking, but I can't tell without seeing more of the leaves.
Those are wild grapes. Great for jellies, and coloring other preserves, but pretty sour and not a lot of juice for other uses. I have a wild grape jelly recipe at home I will give you, and there are the grape leaves you needed, as well!
do you have a picture of more of the plant? the color and clustering (some are gone/eaten) makes me wonder if it is elderberry.
