Abby had it right. That's a grape. Most likely not a fresh table grape. Looks like it might be a variety of concord but I've never actually seen our wild grapes have.....well grapes. The clusters do look very much like our purposefully planted concords at our house.
I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY TASTE! They cover the north fence line of the 40 acre farm we are waiting on an answer to. I didn't know what they are, so had not tasted yet.
They are sour, but have a hint of grape taste. Like I said-good for jelly, but that's about it. The ones at my mom's house went crazy this year. I think it was the more mediterranean type weather-wet, not as hot and such.
