New Process
I thought I'd preview the new process I've been using for painting. It is both new in medium and new in the way that I approach creating. Here is a picture of one, yes only one, of the boards that I started last month. I am using Gouache and Watercolor Pencils.

Mother, wife, sister, friend. This is our second year on the farm, a dream we've had since we were first married. We unschool, AP parent, and grow our own food (or try to).

That's very pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Mama P! Very nice. And such an inspiration for me. I do appreciate that you are posting your art efforts. I need to get in gear again and get down in my studio and get moving.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are back in the light- I was starting to worry about you!
Hugs,
LB
Wow lady--I didn't know you were an artist. That is really great.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the nice comments! I didn't know I still had it in me, but do think it was linked to a brain spurt and the troubles lately. I really needed this to just sit down on concentrate on color and fine motor skill. The hardest part about this medium is that I have to use a brush, a stiff and tiny wet brush.
ReplyDeleteThe canvas board is only 8x11 btw. The iris one in my header bar is 18x24. I usually paint big and fast, but this is an exercise in process. :)
