Farm School Week of October 8th

Farm school looked like a lot of on the go this week:

Art class, painting the mermaid and moon rock.

What is this? We experimented on it to try and figure it out. More to come on that.

Geometry.

Exploring a log at a naturalscape park and play.

Captured acorns.

Lily riding.

Selfie that Lily did.

Busted in the driver's seat. No Holly, you can't even see over the dash, you may NOT drive the truck. Yet.
School at our house is fun. This happened too:

Lily asked some questions that led to an impromptu discussion on radiation and physics. We got to the part about how the things we call the building blocks of matter aren't actually matter, just energy, so things don't really exist the way we usually think of them existing, and they don't interact or touch in the ways we usually think of them doing so...and it set off the most fantastic game of 'not touching you' that was ever created.

Science!
