Mother, wife, sister, friend. This is our second year on the farm, a dream we've had since we were first married. We unschool, AP parent, and grow our own food (or try to).

ReplyDeleteI happen to feel about slugs the way some folks do about snakes or spiders. Isn't childhood fabu in that our littles do not share our grownup phobias? Phobias introduced when teenage boys thought it fun to raid a slumber party and throw slugs at the girls, lol.

Those are sure pretty! But I have a phobia of slimy and scaly too. I'm glad my boys (and your girl) is taught to love them, not fear them.

My youngest loved millipedes when she was little - still does! One year we ordered her a giant millipede from Carolina Biological Supply for her birthday. It comes with a tank and instructions - she sure loved Big Bertha!
