Cream Puff brought me her lamb, Miss Nickle, for photo. So proud! |
Here's the princess and her maaaaaaaa. |
Surprise! Twins! This is Flurry and her lambs Cardigan (the black lamb) and we haven't named the little white ewe. |
She's not all white, She has the mask! These lambs are little! |
Wonderful to see these pictures. Cream Puff looks really well and her little lamb is just adorable. I love the way she's keeping her close. What a great job for a first time momma sheep! Flurry looks good too. She's doing much better this year with her lambs. I could be mistaken, but I think that Cardigan (great name, by the way!) is actually moorit, which is dark brown. She may lighten up as she gets older, or she may stay dark and have bleached tips from the sun. If she has any lightness around her lips (they call that sugarlips) she may lighten up. She just doesn't look black in these pictures, but it may just be the light. Lovely fleece for dyeing on the little white ewe too. They look small but strong. :) Congrats!
