Very Good Berries
We've harvested about 65 pounds of strawberries and I've given half of those away. Sharing the love. Also, my fingers started to bleed so processing ceased to be fun. The berries just keep on coming. Next up, gooseberries, mulberries, and then blackberries.
Mother, wife, sister, friend. This is our second year on the farm, a dream we've had since we were first married. We unschool, AP parent, and grow our own food (or try to).

We had lots of fun picking strawberries. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteIf you end up with extra blackberries, we'd love to come out and pick - how much would you charge per quart?
ReplyDeleteThis year we are not charging if you all come and help pick! I can always use some help raking hay or pulling weeds though, optional. Just come and visit and we'll send you home loaded!
ReplyDeleteHoly Buckets!!!! Wow!!! Let us know if you need help with the Gooseberries & Blackberries. Do you have a lot of mulberries??
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of everything, but yes the mulberries are in right now and they are all over. We've been eating off the dam.
ReplyDeletedanelle, if the quantities justify, maybve you could schedule a picking party!
ReplyDeleteThat would have been a good idea, but now we are only getting about 5 lbs every three days.
ReplyDeleteOooh, but for the blackberries!
Wow! Those are beautiful! I got a good handful off my bushes and thought I was blessed, you've got berry nirvana going! Raodside stand time, eh?
